To find out if you qualify to erase your Harris County criminal record, your information must be reviewed by the Harris County District Attorney’s office. They are the official authority that will determine if you are eligible to erase your record and will provide you with a clear yes or no answer.

STEP 3 - Send the Email

• Double-check your information, then hit “Send.”

STEP 4 - Follow Up if Necessary

• The Harris County DA’s office usually responds within 24 hours.
• If you don’t hear back within 24 hours, wait one week, then follow up by sending the email again.

Once the DA’s office receives your email, they will review your information and respond directly to you.
